Overview

Understand the simplest route through Humanit Revision and how test results drive future practice.

Before you start

  • For GCSE/A-Level, add the subjects you actually study and the exam board/specification where known.

Steps

  1. 1Open Study and choose Revision, or go directly to Tests.
  2. 2GCSE and A-Level learners add their real subjects once, including exam board, specification and tier/options where relevant.
  3. 3Daily 10 is a short daily assessment. Humanit chooses from your saved subjects and prioritises weak or due skills.
  4. 4Monthly Full Mock is a longer subject-specific checkpoint. Choose one of your saved subjects.
  5. 5For calculations, coding and extended answers, show your working or reasoning. Humanit uses this to identify where marks were lost.
  6. 6Wrong or partial answers create weak-topic and weak-skill priorities which return in later revision.
  7. 7Practical subjects can use subject-appropriate evidence such as code, projects, images, audio, video or teacher observation where enabled.
  8. 8Progress appears in Study/Revision and contributes to monthly learning reports where the account has an authorised recipient.

Tips

  • Do the Daily 10 regularly rather than cramming several tests at once.
  • Do not change your subject profile just to get easier questions.
  • Use the feedback after a test before attempting the same skill again.
  • If Humanit asks for working, include the method even if you already know the final answer.

Limitations

  • Humanit practice scores are not official exam-board grades.
  • Official historical questions are only shown where Humanit has permission to display them.
  • Humanit Verified questions are original Humanit/Sigma questions aligned to UK specifications and are clearly labelled as such.
  • Practical/NEA components may still require teacher or school supervision/authentication for official assessment.

Responsible use

Humanit supports revision and formative assessment. It does not replace teachers, official exam-board assessment or required school authentication.
